During my stay, I loved how close I was to Swan Lake Iris Gardens, which made my morning walks truly enjoyable, and with the Sumter Gallery of Art also just a short drive away, I was able to immerse myself in local culture easily. if you're like me and enjoy being in the heart of the city with easy walking access to landmarks, this place is perfect for you.

Clean rooms, friendly staff.

The room was clean and the lobby area had a neat appearance, which was a pleasant surprise considering the building's exterior looked outdated. However, the overall upkeep of the facility is lacking, with the surrounding areas appearing unkempt. Breakfast options were limited and not very appetizing, leading to a somewhat disappointing dining experience. I appreciate that renovations are reportedly on the way, which may improve conditions significantly. The location was decent with several dining options nearby.

The staff was friendly and attentive during my stay. The room was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable environment for our group. I appreciated the fast Wi-Fi which was reliable for our needs. Other hotels I’ve stayed at have had much better breakfast options though, with only scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage available, and everything tasted quite stale.

This place was just an optimal selection for an overnight stay with great value for the money. I was checked in late and had to wait outside in the rain for 20 minutes, which wasn’t ideal. My tip, it's best to check in early to avoid long waits.
